‘Tis  the season! There’s a chill in the air and the holiday buzz can be felt around the office. Your employees have been nothing short of amazing this year. They’ve crushed their goals, served your customers, and are helping to move your company forward. You appreciate all of their hard work, and you want to do something special for them for the holidays.

You’ve held the typical “office holiday parties” in the past. Sure, people had fun, but you want to do something different this year. Plus, you want to get everyone out of the office to really relax and have an amazing time. They deserve it.

Read on for some tips to plan a successful corporate holiday party.

Consider an After-Holiday Party

December is a busy month. People are still trying to come down from the Thanksgiving high and are now focused on shopping and preparing their own holiday celebrations for family and friends. While the traditional holiday party is held the first two weeks of December, this may not be the best option for your team.

Why not keep the holiday season going by hosting your company holiday party in January? Your employees will be passed the stress of holiday season and will be ready to kick off the new year the right way. Plus, if you haven’t started planning earlier in the season, your ideal venue may already be booked. Hosting your party in January may be the perfect solution.

Think Outside the Cubicle

Picking your venue is one of the most important decisions you’ll make when event planning. After all, the location sets the tone for the entire event. You want to do something fun, not stuffy. A classy restaurant or grand ballroom may impress your employees and their significant others, but will it really speak to your team’s  personality?

You’ve considered hosting it in the office again, but that doesn’t represent the festive environment you’d like to create. And, don’t forget the cleanup. If you host a party at the business, you’ll either have to do the cleanup yourself or hire a crew to come in and set the area back to work-appropriate as quickly as possible.

Instead of the same old boring party, why not throw one that your employees will remember for years to come? A party that will leave no doubt in their minds that you appreciate all they do. If you live in the Las Vegas area, consider Glowzone indoor amusement park for your next corporate holiday party. Here, your employees will be able to kick back and play. Now, how often do they get to do that at the office?

Your team can enjoy the Skyscraper Ropes Course, 70-foot zipline, 28-foot climbing walls, Glow Mini Golf, Bazooka Ball, the arcade, and much more. They can laugh, let their inner-children out for the evening, and bond with their coworkers.

Focus on Fun, Not Logistics

If you host a party at your business, you will need to consider: food and drinks, table and chair rentals, setup crew, cleanup crew, entertainment, and if you’d like to enjoy the party yourself, you’ll probably need an event planner to orchestrate the actual event.

However, if you host your event at Glowzone, you’ll have an Event Specialist guiding you through all of the difficult decisions. You won’t have to worry about food, drinks, entertainment, equipment rentals, or cleanup. This will all be taken care of for you. Your job for the event? Have fun, enjoy the time with your team, and make them feel special. Doesn’t that sound better?

If done right, your company holiday party can be a wonderful experience for everyone. When you plan your party at Glowzone, you’ll be the hero of the office and ensure that your employees have a happy holiday season and a productive new year.
